In 2008, Mabry Middle School was recognized by the Department of Education for achieving superior standards of academic excellence and was awarded the Georgia Blue Ribbon.
In 2018, Lassiter High School ranked 21st within Georgia. Students have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement® course work and exams. The AP® participation rate at Lassiter High School is 60 percent. Lassiter High School is 1 of 17 high schools in the Cobb County. Lassiter High School is ranked #605 in the National Rankings and earned a silver medal.
